The Student Activities Coordinator manages the club registration process, works with
students to start new clubs, provides training to club officers on how to effectively
run their clubs, and assists the clubs with event planning.

The Student Activities Coordinator also provides training to faculty and staff who serve as club advisors. All DVC clubs are required to have at least one advisor. Advisors can be faculty or staff. If you are interested in serving as an advisor, please email the Student Activities Coordinator. Club advisors must participate in a Club Advisor Workshop.
The Student Activities Coordinator serves as the advisor to the Inter-Club Council (ICC). Each active club is required to have a representative on the ICC. The ICC meets weekly to discuss club activities, share information, and vote on requests for funding.
