Official Transcripts

Order an official transcript online through InSite

Official transcripts may be requested directly through InSite. For online requests, after login, click the InSite link and select Official Transcript Request under Academic Services.  Check the status of transcript requests, as well as print unofficial transcripts through InSite. Admissions and Records does not provide unofficial copies of transcripts.  If you need instructions on how to log in to InSite, view our login assistance page.

To request official transcripts in person or by mail, you must submit a transcript request form to the Admissions and Records office. In-person request forms are available in the Admissions and Records office; a mail version is on our forms page.   Please fill out the form completely. Incomplete forms may cause a delay in processing. Please be sure to sign the request; your signature is required to process a transcript.  Transcript requests will not be processed if any outstanding debts are owed to the College.

Transcript requests are not held pending grades.  Please verify grades have posted through InSite before submitting a transcript request.

Processing time:

Standard service- 7-10 business days, $5

Rush service - 24 hours, $5 plus $10 rush processing fee

Express service - 1 hour, $5 plus $25 express processing fee
must be ordered and picked up in person, must arrive at least one hour prior to office closing.

Payment Information:

  • The $5 fee from the 1st two transcripts ever ordered within the district will be waived
  • Payment may be made by cash, check, money order or credit card (visa/mastercard)
  • Please do not mail cash
  • InSite requests require a credit card

To have a 3rd party order/pickup your transcript, you must provide them with a signed letter of authorization. They will be required to show a photo ID.

The letter of authorization should have the following information:

  • Your name, Student ID Number or Social Security Number (SSN), Date of Birth (DOB), Address, Telephone Number, and Signature.
  • In addition, include the name of the person you are authorizing, number of copies you are requesting, and address you want the transcript(s) sent to if they are to be mailed.

Enrollment verifications

Free enrollment verifications are available through InSite 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Request a verification in the Academic Services menu by clicking Enrollment Verification. You will be directed to the National Student Clearinghouse for processing.

To request an enrollment verification from the Admissions and Records office you must submit an enrollment verification request form. Request forms are available in the office or on our forms page. You may submit a request in person by or mail. Please fill out the form completely. Incomplete forms may cause a delay in processing. Please be sure to sign the request; your signature is required to process a verification.

Processing time: 

Standard service – (3-5 business days) $2 (first two free within district)  

Rush service - (24 hour) $5

Payment information:

  • Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card (visa/mastercard only)
  • Please do not mail cash
  • Verifications for childcare or unemployment services are free of charge unless rush processing is requested

A photo ID is required to order and pickup enrollment verifications. To have a 3rd party order/pickup your verification, you must provide them with a signed letter of authorization. They will be required to show a photo ID.

Your name, Student ID Number or SSN, DOB, Address, Telephone Number, Signature.

Also include the name of the person you are authorizing and where you want the verification to be mailed, if applicable.

Diablo Valley College accepts transcripts from institutions (e.g., colleges, universities, and high schools) currently recognized by regional accrediting organizations as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
